Emily is a structural engineer for The Concrete Centre where she promotes efficient design and construction. Her role includes work on the development of Eurocode 2 and providing technical guidance to designers. Prior to joining The Concrete Centre, she worked on a wide range of challenging engineering schemes, including stations, stadia and commercial buildings. She is a Chartered Member of the IStructE and the ICE.

Lee has over 20 years’ experience in project delivery across the UK, the Middle East and Canada with strong expertise in structural concrete. Lee is part of the Laing O’Rourke technical leadership team with key responsibilities on projects from early engagement and tender to delivery on site. His focus is mainly on leveraging off-site manufacturing and its unique opportunities to ensure absolute certainty in project delivery.

Glen is a Structural Engineer with 20 years’ experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering design teams at Arup, delivering complex projects in the UK and internationally, and for the past 5 years, working within the technology, innovation and R&D team at Laing O’Rourke, the UK’s largest private Contractor. He leads the technical design, development, and deployment of innovative next generation product based structures, low carbon and high productivity solutions for the built environment, and leads R&D activities related to sustainability, with a key focus on the decarbonisation of reinforced concrete.

Tony is a Structural Engineer with over 30 years of experience in design, research and investigation of Concrete Structures including performance in fire. He is currently the UK Head of Delegation to the CEN committee on structural concrete which is overseeing the development of the Second-Generation Eurocode on Concrete design. Tony provides guidance on structural and structural fire design to the UK concrete industry.

As a Net Zero Lead, Diego works towards creating zero carbon buildings to address the climate emergency. This includes the development of the strategy for WSP’s Property and Buildings business to drive emissions down, multidisciplinary, holistically, delivering on their commitment to halve carbon emissions from all designs and advice by 2030. As a structural engineer, Diego’s experience varies from tall building design to complex basements, from office refurbishments to luxury hotels. He was the lead engineer for 22 Bishopsgate.
